BR 2-12: The Long Road

“Money from Terry's marathon brings hope to all people with cancer, ” he says. (p. 14) This week, I read “The Long Road”. This is a book about one man who has a weak leg. His name is Terry. One day, his weak leg was operated because it had cancer and it got to be an artificial leg. He thought he wanted to help children in the hospital. To do that, a lot of money were necessary. Then, he decided to run a marathon for money. At first, his family was against to it, but he didn't listen to them. BR 2-11: Blackmail

But why did he want to see the house? And why did he ask me all those questions? (p. 6) Today, I read “Blackmail”. This is a story of a man and a woman. The woman is cleaning people's house. It's her job. On the way she goes to work, she was always meeting the man and talked together. One day, she heard that a burglar broke into one of the houses she was working at. Then, she told him about that accident. After that, he said that he wanted to go and see the house for no reason. She was wondering why he wanted to do that, but they went to the house together.
